With confidence high we starting throwing ourself at the heroic modes. First stop, Morchok! I don't think any of us quite expected to wipe as much as we did, and we spent the whole of the first night doing just that. It turns out Shammys don't make good soakers. The next night with a couple of adjustments, it was clear we had a much more reliable and repeatable plan of attack, and sure enough after maybe 6-8 wipes we got him down.

With Dragon Soul finally released we put Firelands on the back burner and cruised into the new raid with our shiny heroic 391 gear. We made pretty short work of most fights, others required a little practice, but we managed to clear the place in 2 nights on normal! The real challenge starts next reset with heroics now available to us.

We finally completed our first DTR, thanks to everyone who made it possible. It's been a long time in the making.



It sure does help in the DPS department.
